How To Use An Autoresponder To Increase Your MLM Sales

We all know that you have to form some sort of a relationship with our prospects in order to gain their trust so that they will feel comfortable buying from us.  If you are marketing your MLM product or service on the Internet, then forming that relationship is harder to do than when you are talking with your prospects one on one over the telephone or face to face.

That’s why using an autoresponder is so important.  Effectively using a solid autoresponder sequence can help you to build that trust.  Like the kind of trust that can double the sales of your MLM products.  The kind of trust that turns visitors into dollars.

Two Simple Tips Of Autoresponder Advice

Here are two pieces of autoresponder advice that most network marketers don’t take, and even if you don’t take action on the offer at the end of this post (yes, I’m going to sell you something), you will get a lot of value by just correcting these mistakes.

  • Mistake #1 – most network marketers make the mistake of not having a autoresponder.  This is a huge mistake.  I know that signing up with a system like Aweber (who I highly recommend and wrote about in my post on creating a relationship, you can read that by clicking here) will cost you some money every month but the network marketer that earns the most trust is the marketer that will make more money.  Sending your list useful emails will work at drawing your prospects toward you and your MLM product.
  • Mistake #2 – letting your existing autoresponder run out of messages.  Why would any network marketer go through the trouble of buying traffic and building a list and then just stop talking to them after 7 emails?

Want To Get More Leads Daily (The Good Leads To Boot)

Everyone wants the secret to getting great leads so they can grow their home based business and today we are going to discuss something that you absolutely should try if you are marketing your MLM online.

With all of the choices available online today, you have to have something that really stands out if you want to get your prospects attention.  That’s why I tell my students not to bother with even trying to promote the website that they got when they signed up with their network marketing company.  It looks like everyone else’s website.  You also want to be able to get your prospects information.  So, one of the best ways to do both is with a data capture page also known as a squeeze page.

What Is A Squeeze Page

According to Webopedia.com a squeeze page is “a Web page that contains information that would interest the marketer’s targeted readers.  Squeeze pages are designed to obtain a reader’s name and e-mail address information by encouraging users to opt-in to an e-mail list to receive more information about the topic”

How Will A Squeeze Page Grow My MLM Business

Let’s break down the definition a little to see how a squeeze page will grow your network marketing business.  The first part is to get the attention of your target market.  This will be done by creating compelling headlines.  Then you have to maintain your prospects interest, by talking about what is important to your prospect not to you but to your prospect.

Then because you want to get your prospects information, you have to give them a reason to leave you their name and email address.  This can be accomplished by giving your prospect something.  You could give them a free sample, a free report, a free consultation, or something else of value to the prospect.  Of course, all of these things should be related to your MLM product or service.  It doesn’t make sense to attract a bunch of hungry prospects that only want oranges and what you have is apples.

Components Of A Squeeze Page

There are a few things that every data capture or squeeze page should have.  They are:

  • Headline
  • Subhead
  • Bullet Points-loaded with benefit as to what your prospect is going to discover
  • Capture Box (this is where having an autoresponder like AWeber comes in.  You want to be able to form a relationship with you prospect and an autoresponder can help.  I wrote an article about forming a relationship and you can read it here)
  • Privacy Policy
  • Copyright

So if you want to get the best leads for your business make sure that your squeeze page is targeted to whatever MLM product or service you are selling and more importantly it has to have compelling benefits for your prospects.

That’s it for today.  The main thing to remember is that you have to test, test, test, and test some more until you are happy with the conversion rate.  Which brings up an important point, you have to keep track of your conversion rate so that you know which elements of your squeeze page are bringing in the most targeted prospects for your network marketing business.

Creating A Relationship To Increase MLM Sales

The last time I talked about forming a relationship with the prospects that you collect using online methods by using an autoresponder.  I realize that I didn’t go into enough detail about the why and the how to actually creating that relationship.  So today I would like to take care of my mistake.

The main reason you want to form a relationship with your prospect is so that they can get to know you.  The better your prospect knows you, the more they will trust you.  The more they trust you, the more they will buy from you.  Using the Internet to find your leads (prospects) is great but you have to understand that leads (prospects) are actual people.

Increase MLM Sales

If you want to increase your MLM sales, the best place to start is to form a human connection, a relationship with the potential customer.  Remember that there is at least one other person at the other end whatever piece of technology you decide to use.  The great thing about technology is that it allows us to develop relationships faster and in greater numbers.

How To Form A Relationship

In order to form a relationship, you first have to have an introduction.  When it comes to using the Internet, the introduction can be done in a number of ways.  Someone may click on one of your ads, read an article that you have written, come across your website, or connected with you via facebook, twitter, or some other form of social media.  The point is your prospect’s first look at you is the introduction.  You may want to keep that in mind when you setting things up on the Internet.

After the introduction the connection between prospect and network marketer starts to form.  This is where you may share some information about yourself, where you live, where you came from, who you are.  The prospect reads what you have to say and they decide if they like what they see.  Are you both on the same page so to speak. 

For example: the prospect in on the Internet looking for, let’s say, a wrinkle reducer and they come across your ad that says something to the effect that what you have will remove 10 years worth of wrinkles in just 15 minutes a day.  Wow, that’s a great ad and the prospect clicks on it (the Intro is done) now they read what you have to say.  They see that you have helped many people to look younger and blah, blah, blah.  But they like what they see, there is a connection.

Now is the time to start the relationship phase.  They decide to go ahead and make an order or more likely, get your free report, or sign up for your newsletter.  I say this because some people have to be exposed to something more than once before they make a buying decision.  Anyway, the power to forming a great relationship is in your hands.  If you provide your prospect with what they really want, they will keep coming to you for it.

Why Having An Autoresponder Can Increase MLM Sales

An autoresponder is a great marketing tool.  Once your prospect has said they want to become your subscriber, they are giving your permission to contact them via email.  With an autoresponder you can send follow-up emails at regular intervals.  If you have a prospect that has to be exposed to something more than once before they make a buying decision, an autoresponder is the easiest way to stay in contact with them.

Sending emails with good content that your prospect wants will help to build a relationship with them.  You build credibility, confidence and trust.  The more your prospect trusts you the more they will buy from your.  The best part about using an autoresponder is that it is all done automatically once you get it set up of course.

By using an autoresponder, (again, I recommend using AWeber) you don’t have to personally figure out who will buy from you and who won’t.  The content that you send out will do that for you.  If your prospect decides that you shouldn’t be in a relationship any longer, they just have to unsubscribe and that’s it.  You don’t have to do anything.

Autoresponders can help improve your success significantly.  Autoresponders will save you time, increase your effectiveness, keep you in touch with your subscribers, and ultimately increase your profits.
