How Do I Market My MLM On The Internet

Okay I give up.  I am finally saying “Uncle”.  I won’t fight you any longer.  I am going to give you exactly what you have been asking for starting now.  What is that you ask?  It’s the Internet.

By far the thing I hear the most from my prospects and fellow network marketers is that they want to market using the Internet.  I can understand why everyone wants to market their MLM business using the Internet, really I do, but it can be quite a challenge to do it successfully.  By successful, I mean make more money than you spend trying to get people to buy your mlm products or to get people to join you in owning a home based business.  So, I have decided to help you do exactly what it is everyone is asking help with.

How Do I Market My MLM On The Internet

The purpose of using the Internet to market any business, whether it’s a multi level marketing business or something in direct sales doesn’t matter, is to reach as many people in the shortest amount of time possible.  Which frankly now that I write this, I am sitting here scratching my head wondering about the many people that I speak with that tell me that their MLM company says they can only market to their “warm market”.  You can’t only market to your “warm market” and market on the Internet.  The Internet is a lot of things but I wouldn’t call it “warm” in fact it’s one of the most hands-off approaches that one can take.  Anyway, I’m getting off point.

How Do I Get People To Find Me

Getting people to find you among all of the other millions of people is one of the biggest challenges when it comes to using the Internet to market your mlm products and services.  Some of the other challenges are…

  • Getting people to take action
  • Building a list
  • Choosing a domain name
  • Using social media
  • Getting targeted traffic
  • Creating headlines and ad copy

…actually this list could go on for quite a while.  Needless to say there is a lot to consider when you decide to use the Internet to market your home based business.

What Do I Do

So, by now you are probably asking me “Amy, what’s the best way for me to get started on the Internet?”  This is why I recommend starting your network marketing business using the telephone.  Frankly, there is a lot less to think about and it’s just plain easier to do.  However, if you are really set on getting on the Internet, then you should be armed with the facts about how to do it successfully.

Here is what I am going to do to hopefully help you on your journey to a successful home based business.  I am going to share with you exactly what I did to get started.  I will tell you what doesn’t work and what does work, what you can expect and how to know if it is working.  I have to tell you that I am not an expert when it comes to technology, however, I do come from a family that enjoys knowing how things work.  Because I love to learn new things, I am not afraid to do something that I haven’t tried before.  If you are NOT one of those people, then you may have to find someone close to you to help you with the technical things or you may have to hire someone to do it for you.

Okay, I know that I didn’t actually give you any useful information today.  Today is just a warm up on the subject of using the Internet to market your home based business.  Stay tuned because I will be sharing with you:

  • What should my online business be called
  • The power of a data capture page
  • How to start collecting names of people who want more information
  • The best ways to get good targeted traffic
  • How to use PayPerClick advertizing
  • How to use a blog to grow a MLM business
  • Social media and network marketing
  • …and a whole lot more.

Until next time, stay strong and if what you are currently doing to grow your home based business isn’t working, then cut it out and find something else that will work for YOU.  I hope to see you next Monday when I write about ”How A Name Can Increase Sales”
